Sir Alex Ferguson is The Best Manager in The Barclays Premier League season 2012/2013
LONDON - League Managers Association (LMA) choosen Sir Alex Ferguson as the best manager of the Barclays Premier League season 2012/2013. The success manager of Manchester United won the Premier League to bring Fergie became the best manager.
Sir Alex Ferguson beaten three other nominees, they are David Moyes (Everton), Michael Laudrup (Swansea), and Malky Mackay (Cardiff).
"Steve Clarke should given an award for anyone who scored five goals against United," said Fergie jokingly told Sky Sports.
For Sir Alex Ferguson, this is the fourth award after the season 1998/1999, 2007/2008 and 2009/2010. Fergie was also selected as the best manager of the 1990s version of the LMA.
LMA is an association of managers of all divisions in the United Kingdom. Therefore, in this award also bestowed their best Championship manager to Malky Mackay (Cardiff), the best manager of League One for Gary Johnson (Yeovill), and the best manager for Martin Allen's League Two (Gillingham).
Roy Hodgson was also awarded the LMA Club 1000 for having passed 1,000 matches. In addition, Roberto Di Matteo and Phil Parkinson was given the Special Merit Award for their dedication in Chelsea and Bradford.
